Social Network Integration

Integrating into social networks is just important as being on them in theimage past the US Jaycees website hasn’t made reference to our involvement with the online social networks. Today I introduced a new module called stalker which allows us to promote our social network pages on our homepage as well as I wrote a custom module for displaying the organizations Facebook fan page.

Guess Who Updating the site

It’s me !!!!!it was just recently announced that I’ll be taking the US Jaycees website from the current webmaster David. No real reason why was giving why the change. But they posted they were looking on the site and I responded with a letter to President Jeff and the Exec board.  Look for more postings over the 12 months about my adventures as their 2010 Website Program Manager.

Old Site

 

When the Palatine Jaycees needed a update to there aging website. I worked with the Chapter President to bring a fresh new look to there website. For this site it required moving over all the current chapter contain as well as introducing some new features. The Palatine Jaycees is a leadership development and networking group for adults between the age of 18 and 40 in Palatine, Illinois.Revised Site

 

    Components Used In the site:
    MassContain- This component is used on the backend to migrate multiple html pages to the Joomla all at once.
    DOCman – This component allows for the chapter board to post documents for the members to
    download such as recent newsletters and forms.
    Fireboard Forum- This component allows for the chapter to host a forum outside their chapter so that there members can collaborate and share ideas outside the chapters meetup social group.

    Schaumburg Junior Chamber Website Redesign

    When The Schaumburg Junior Chamber aka Jaycees needed a new website to replace their old html based site which had not being updated in over 4 years. I turned to a Joomla based solution. Hosted on a Godaddy server I was able to configure and deploy the site within 3 hours. The Schaumburg Jaycees is a leadership development and networking group for adults between the age of 18 and 40 in Schaumburg, Illinois

        Components Used In the site:

    DOCman

        - This component allows for the chapter board to post documents for the members to

        that the members can keep up to date as to what is happening with in the chapter.
