So it was last Sunday night the first day of the new year the time was about 945 PM and I was walking around with my laptop chatting with friends. Then I set it down on my coffee table and then it happened, The fire alarm went off and I jumped up in the process kicked my laptop, sending it crashing to the floor. All I could think is well if my building is on fire at least my insurance will cover it. So I went ahead and evacuated, and there was nothing wrong not even smoke in the hallway. So I came back in after standing outside for like 30 minutes and began to look over my laptop and inspect it for damage. No visual problems, so I powered it up and theres no dead pixels, so I’m thinking this is good plugged up my wireless network card and I picked up right where I left off and I noticed it I was still running on battery even though my laptop was plugged up so I unplugged it and plugged it in again and then it hit me, there is a shortage in my power cable now. Damn almost got away problem free, thank god for ebay I was able to find a new power cable for 10 bucks
